Duke football is proud to host Faith & Family Day on October 22, 2011 for our game with Wake Forest. 
Also known as Youth Day in the past, we are looking forward to hosting churches and groups for a program of Christian fellowship followed by football.
Matt Papa will bring his unique blend of Christian music and a powerful message to Wallace Wade Stadium as our keynote speaker. Matt recently released his latest album, This Changes Everything. In addition, Reverend Keith Daniel, the Director of Community and Campus Engagement at Duke University Chapel (a former Duke football player who has worked on campus for years) will also be part of the program. With Matt and Keith both calling Durham home, this will make for an inspirational home-grown event at Duke.
Faith & Family Day brings church congregations and church youth groups from North & South Carolina and Virginia to our football stadium two and a half hours prior to kickoff to learn about Christ as their personal Savior and enjoy a college football game.
The diverse list of Faith & Family Day speakers over the years has included Pete Maravich, Bobby Richardson, Kyle Rote, Jr., Tom Landry, Roger Staubach, Meadowlark Lemon, Dan Cathy, Scott O’Grady, and Ernie Irvan to name a few over the 30+ years we have hosted the event.
