Here is a list of the different events being sponsored Monday, January 16th to honor Martin Luther King and his vision. 
These are activities scheduled in Durham communities, which are part of the Urban Net:
- McDougald Terrace – Community-wide prayer walk 10 AM, Civil rights history lessons given by senior adults and NCCU students 2 PM, Basketball clinic/contest in the park 2-4 PM
- Carver Pond Apts – Community-wide acts of encouragement and prayer walking 10 AM
- Cornwallis Apts – Youth Life Foundation will be doing clean up of the Youth Life Center 2 PM
- Million Meals at Duke – A collaborative preparation of a million meals for the hungry All DAY
- Hoover Rd Apts – Community-wide prayer walk 10 AM, Play and clean up day for kids 2 PM
- Liberty St Apts & Oxford Manor – Community-wide prayer walk 10 AM
Community luncheon hosted by Child Evangelism Fellowship Ministries at First Baptist Church of Durham (free w/brief program) at 12 noon.
