Employment
Joe’s Diner- Joe’s Diner is committed to community revitalization and job training

NC Community College System- North Carolina’s community colleges provide high-quality job training and educational opportunities. Find a campus near you.

Career Readiness Certification- An assessment-based credential that gives employers and career seekers a uniform measure of key workplace skills.

Human Resources Development (HRD) ProgramProvides skills assessment, employability skills training, career development counseling and job seeking and keeping skills to the emerging workforce and individuals in transition. HRD classes are offered at all 58 community colleges and are fee waived for individuals meeting eligibility criteria.

JobLink Career CentersProvides job seekers with access to the information and services they need to manage their careers.

Business Starters
Good Work- Supports community entrepreneurs, business owners, and nonprofit executives to be self-reliant, resilient, generous, and collaborative

NCCU Business Starter Classes- offers a free program of three 6-week non-credit classes to aid in the development of viable business ventures.

Durham Tech Small Business Center- The SBC provides small business owners with information they need for success, including advice on marketing, sales, bookkeeping, and management.

Returning Citizens
TROSA- TROSA’s goal is to prepare our residents for life after rehabilitation by helping them develop one or more marketable skills and establish a strong work ethic.

New Beginnings- New Beginnings Furniture, a program of the Shared Visions Foundation, is an earned income venture that generates revenue for local nonprofits that directly benefit local communities.

Jobs for Life-  A unique job training program that uses the Bible the JFL curriculum and a support team (Champions) to empower people to be successful at work and in life for the Glory of God.
