VOLUNTEER! The Durham Rescue Mission needs volunteers to help with the Annual Thanksgiving Dinner. On Thanksgiving Day we serve a free traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings, and give away free clothing and groceries. In addition, we offer free games and other activities for the children to enjoy. Volunteer Opportunities include: setting up event site, cooking or serving the meal, setting up and manning the game booths, giving away clothing and groceries, and cleaning up after the event.
NEED HELP? If you are in need of help during the holidays, or are homeless please join us 1201 East Main Street, Durham for our Annual Thanksgiving Event.
